The beach road has seen must change in its lifetime, with some goodbyes as well as hellos to new faces in small business. Two stand out businesses that have debuted in the past few years are Surfin' Spoon Frozen Yogurt Bar and Seagreen Gallery, both in Nags Head.

I just learned that we are now managing The Stinson Ranch in Nags Head. This resurrected structure is a duplicate of the original "Stinson's Ranch" which was destroyed by Hurricane Irene in August of 2011.

As many people know the real estate market has been a tough way to make a living in the last few years. Credit has been tight and the economy has been rough...forcing a lot of short sales and foreclosures.

We are always happy to help new businesses here at the Village and this venture sounds like it could really do well. For those of you who have been here in the summer you may have noticed that the mosquitos, sometimes, can be very annoying.
