For the eighth year in a row, Village Realty has matched its employees’ fundraising efforts and donated to the Outer Banks Woman’s Club Angel Gift fund.

Now in its 30th year, the Angel Gift fund assists Dare County families and children in need. Named the 2017 Non-Profit of the Year by the Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce, the Woman’s Club works to make sure every child’s wishes and needs are fulfilled during this holiday season. Since 2010, Village Realty has matched every dollar that its employees raise each year, donating the sum to this worthy community charity.

On December 5, Village Realty property manager Emily Lewis presented the company’s 2017 donation of $13,100 to the Outer Banks Woman’s Club on behalf of Village Realty! The funds matched were raised through employee fundraisers which included: the collection of $1 per day from each employee who wished to wear jeans to work, the Rental Department selling custom glass ornaments, the Housekeeping Department organizing a yard sale, the Accounting, Sales, and Human Resources Departments hosting a chili cook-off and bake sale, and the Association Management, Maintenance and Marketing Departments organizing and volunteering during the Breakfast with Santa at Pamlico Jack’s last Sunday.
