It is that time of year...I am seeing more restaurants with closed signs up and seeing Facebook posts about closings. However that does not mean there are not still places to eat, shops to go to, and things to do on the Outer Banks.
November brings Fall Restaurant Week, which runs through November 7th. Participating OBX restaurants offer special 3-course meals for either $20 or $35. Good prices, great menus. There are over 20 restaurants participating this year and I hope to get to quite a few of them. No tickets needed, no advance purchases required. This is a good chance to try a place you may have heard of but never been to or to go to your favorite places and take advantage of their special menus.
Also in November we have the Annual Outer Banks Marathon Weekend; a HUGE event on the OBX. November 6-8 and there are several races to choose from. Runners come from all over to take part in this.
