This immaculate, newly constructed soudside home features updated finishes throughout and a beautifully landscaped yard. The open-concept living area boasts a modern beach house vibe, complete with a shiplap fireplace, luxury vinyl plank flooring, and a steel cable railing on the staircase. A covered deck serves as an extension of the living room and is the perfect place to enjoy your coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. The family-friendly eat-in kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and additional seating at the bar. A wall of transom windows and a vaulted ceiling with wood paneling make the space feel open and bright. After a long day of fun in the sun, retreat to the spacious primary suite that includes a private bath with dual vanity and custom tile shower. The den downstairs provides an additional hang-out space with seating and a TV. Outside, Barefoot by the Bay lives up to its name with a lush, grassy lawn perfect for kids and yard games.

Centrally located at Milepost 6 in Kill Devil Hills, Barefoot by the Bay is close to a variety of shopping and dining, plus a movie theater. Take a bike ride to Avalon Fishing Pier and Awful Arthur's Oyster Bar, just half a mile away. Use the pedestrian sidewalk along Bay Drive to stroll down to the Hayman Street sound access, where you launch kayaks or watch the sunset from the gazebo.

In case of cancelation, all monies will be refunded less a $150 cancelation fee if you cancel 31 or more days prior to arrival. If you cancel 15-30 days prior to arrival, you will receive a 50% refund. Any cancelations within 14 days of arrival will not be subject to a refund.

The house was pretty clean. Not a lot of decor so you had space to use counters and dressers. Fully stocked kitchen. Nice for indoor evenings. Plenty of space for our family of 6.

This home was in a great location and was very clean. We enjoyed our stay. There were a couple of issues, but the host was responsive and took care of the problem in a timely manner. They were great to communicate and check on us. I would definitely stay here again. We enjoyed our visit very much!

The house was exactly as advertised and perfectly sized for my family. It was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located just a short drive from the beach. The only downside was that the neighborhood felt a bit cramped, with houses situated very close together. Still, it was a great location and an excellent value for the price!

This home is absolutely beautiful. We stayed in the same neighborhood last year and fell in love. This is a place that you can really feel at home. It was a new place for us and it had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. We had a few small hiccups, namely a broken dishwasher, but Village was very responsive and handled it professionally and to our satisfaction - stuff happens and their response to the issue shows their integrity and commitment to their customers. We appreciate the communication from Village, they sent us plenty of information before, during and after our stay that was helpful during our check-in and check-out process. We had one crappy day and I can't describe how peaceful it was watching the rain through the huge windows in the kitchen... a rainy day here is definitely better than anywhere else. We want to sincerely thank the host for their hospitality. We can't wait to come back to OBX.

This is a beautiful house. It was very clean when we arrived. There were no issues entering the house. We loved the large open kitchen and living room. It was a quick drive to the beach or bay. The street is quiet. The neighbors are very nice and friendly! We were so happy to stay at this house. We plan on returning for another family vacation in the future.
