New to the Village Realty program and now accepting reservations for 2025! Embrace the coastal life at Color Me Beachy, a charming oceanside cottage situated just a short walk from the sparkling Atlantic Ocean. The location is perfect for vacationers seeking convenient access to the beach for around-the-clock swimming, surfing or just lounging by the shore break. Back at the house, your very own bubbly hot tub awaits you for soaking away the day. Inside, the classic saltbox design features the common areas and primary bedroom on the lower floor, with two more bedrooms plus a loft upstairs. After a day of fun in the sun, kick off those flip flops and relax in the comfortably furnished living area. Two-story ceilings and an open-concept layout make this family-friendly space feel bright and airy. A dining table for six and a well-equipped kitchen make it easy to prepare and serve meals without leaving the house. Stylish LVP flooring flows throughout the main level, ideal for sandy feet and paws returning from the beach. Outside, three levels of decks provide plenty of space for outdoor living, where you can soak up the sun while listening to the crashing waves. Head up to the rooftop crow's nest for fabulous ocean views and gorgeous sunrises. Dogs are welcome at Color Me Beachy, so bring our canine companions along and let them join you on the dog-friendly beaches of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore.

Rodanthe is the first town after the Bonner Bridge, located on the northern end of Hatteras Island. This quaint village is the ideal setting for a laid back, slower-paced vacation while still having conveniences and dining options nearby. Right across Hwy 12 you'll find a coffee shop and pizzeria, both within walking distance. There's also Rodanthe Watersports, where you can rent kayaks, paddleboards, and more for exploring the Pamlico Sound.

Please note that the daily effects of winds, waves, tides and storms have contributed to coastal erosion impacts at Cape Hatteras National Seashore, particularly adjacent to the villages of Rodanthe and Buxton. The effects of erosion in these towns result in dynamic and unpredictable changes to the dune line, which may unexpectedly affect beach access. Guests may need to utilize alternate beach access points during their stay.
