House was big and nice. I’ve stayed in the currituck club many times and the houses always are ideal for my vacations. It’s not like a Hotel 1 where there’s not a single dust bunny, I think there’s usually some power washing that could be done/pictures need to be straightened/small interior repairs that could be done, but I’m not picky. It doesn’t bother me, it’s just some homes in there are more outdated. Had the best vacation and would stay in that house again.

We really enjoyed the house. Great location. The trolley service to the beach was really convenient! I recommend renting bikes for your stay, all the amenities at the North End of the community are almost 2 miles away
The only negative was we couldn’t get the gas grill started, the tank might’ve been empty

We stayed at Sounds of Summer in Corolla, and we were very pleased with its cleanliness, amenities, and proximity to things we wanted to do. When we arrived, we were able to easily get through the gate and into the home using the provided codes. Everything inside was clean and ready to go. The house was spacious for the five of us and was equipped with all we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was peaceful and provided great places to walk and bike. Additionally, the other people in the community were friendly and quiet. The beach access was just under a mile walk, or if we chose, it was a very close drive away. We found lots to do within a very short drive. We left feeling refreshed and very satisfied with our stay.

This home was exactly what we needed! Sounds of Summer feels very much like a home to be lived in, and is amazingly quiet. It really is in a great location, close to everything we wanted to do, and we`d certainly recommend it to family and friends. The screened porch is in a perfect spot for morning coffee, and for the evening symphony of frogs, which really is pretty cool, especially for our kids. Somehow, when it was bedtime, those sounds stayed outside which may be a testimonial to the windows :) We look forward to staying here again.
