OSI01: Almost Heaven

Thank you to Village Realty and the beautiful Almost Heaven for the gift of two perfect weeks of holiday for 3 generations of family. The home is absolutely lovely— very well appointed kitchen, incredible views over dunes, and a quick access to beach. A short stroll through dune forest at side of home, then one short block to the most lovely and tranquil strand of magnificent ocean. We loved the people of Corolla and look very much forward to coming back soon.

The house layout was great and had all the functionality we needed for a great Vacay. Reality was Awesome and responded to our needs quickly when we noticed property was not vacuumed before our arrival. They took care of it right away. Ample sleeping for 16 people. Pool and hot tub were awesome. Not the newest house on the block, but still a great stay. Short walk to the beach on wooded path leads to next street. 2 block walk to dunes up steps to beach.

Trip was awesome. 2nd time in three years that we showed up to "we're sorry your house isn't clean yet". We paid for the early check-in this year...hope that refund is on its way.

We always love Corolla. this year's weather was especially beautiful and we enjoyed time on the beach every day. This house always provides what we need, but is showing a bit of wear and tear. Would not hurt to throw a couple updates/upgrades and repairs in there.

Awesome week overall. Nothing better than letting it all go for a week in OBX.

The house was beautiful! The house was a short walk to the beach however I wish I had known about all the steps to get over the dunes. We had beach wagons and 4 small children and wish we could have pulled the wagons from street right into beach. We had to take chairs, beach buckets and umbrellas out of wagon and up 40 some steps. Some repairs need to be made to the house, screens had tear, decks were worn and some got splinters, and middle sliding door was difficult to open. Our family did enjoy the pool and big open top floor.

Such a wonderful week in OBX! The house was wonderful and an easy walk to the beach. Located close to grocery store and 10 minutes to tons of wonderful restaurants. Will definitely be returning.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is big and there was plenty of room. It was nice and clean when we moved in. The pool and hot tub were great and we loved the Mid-week cleaning. Unfortunately all of the beds were very uncomfortable and need to be replaced. Also the drains in all the bathrooms were really slow draining. It would be nice to have 2 refrigerators with 20 people in the house. It's a great location.
