SomerVilla is a five-bedroom oceanside home situated on a quiet cul-de-sac in Corolla's Ocean Sands community. The beach is just a short walk away using the boardwalk at the end of Sand Fiddler Circle. Pets are welcome, so you won't have to leave your furry family members behind. SomerVilla makes the most of outdoor living, with a private pool, hot tub and two levels of wrap-around decking. The top-level great room features an open-concept layout ideal for gathering, along with vaulted ceilings and an abundance of natural light. After a day at the beach, come home and rinse off in the outdoor shower before taking a refreshing dip in the pool or a relaxing soak in the hot tub. When it's time for dinner, fire up the grill for burgers, steaks or the catch of the day. Apart of the Section F neighborhood of Ocean Sands, guests will have exclusive access to the nearby community tennis courts. The central location in Corolla means you'll be just minutes from grocery stores, shopping, dining and the Currituck Club golf course.

Walk to the beach was a little further than expected but still not bad. The house needs some updates and outside TLC. But I expect weathering on those homes. All in all very nice stay!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Somervilla Corolla NC. Our family was able to enjoy the hot tub and the short walk to the beach made it easy to spend lots of time there. It was a little cool for the pool, unfortunately (time of year). We saw the horses on the 4WD beach and spent lots of time laughing and making precious memories with our family. Shopping nearby made it very convenient.

Nice stay

Overall the house was nice, close to beach and restaurants and shopping. Needs a little updating. Plenty of room for everyone. Please make a binder with information of how to work the TV especially the living room. I had to call the realty company and it was 2 days before they came. I don’t want to sit in a bedroom to watch TV on vacation. I had several people with me that are used to today’s technology and they couldn’t figure it out. The pool was fabulous-best part of the whole trip was pool time. The beach was very hot but the pool had a wonderful breeze all the time. I don’t know that I would rent a beach house again-just too expensive for 1 week.

Family/Friends Vacation

The property is in a good location. It is a very quiet neighborhood. It is a short walk to the beach from the house. It is also a short driving distance to the grocery store, shops, and activities. The property itself though is very outdated and needs renovations. The decor, appliances, and furniture are in need of an update. The kitchen is very small for the amount of people that can stay in the house. We were also disappointed with the lack of paper towels, toilet paper, and garbage bags that were provided for 10 people to stay a week at the beach. The landscaping and outside of the house also was less maintained compared to other others nearby. The bedrooms and bathrooms were freshly cleaned when we arrived, but other areas had not been cleaned for awhile. (blinds, baseboards, coffee tables, etc) The pool and hot tub area are also in need of some updates.

Perfect house for our family. Enough space for everyone to spread out. Covered deck with swing. Top sun deck with a corner to block wind. Hot tub and pool were great. Easy walk to beach. Shopping area close by within easy walking distance. Not too busy. Wonderful experience.
