September 2, 10:30 amA mandatory EVACUATION is now in effect for all visitors to Dare County and Currituck County. This includes S. Nags Head, Nags Head, Kill Devil Hills, Kitty Hawk, Southern Shores, Corolla.
Please do not call our offices...we are closed due to the storm and many employees are in the field securing deck furniture, grills, etc. We will post updates here as often as we can/is necessary. If you have a reservation for today through Sunday please check your emails--or click through and go to the bottom of the page. we have sent emails to all arrivals through Sunday.

Hurricane force winds are expected during the early morning hours Friday as the storm passes approximately 70 miles off the Outer Banks. Weather conditions will deteriorate this evening as the storm approaches.

Dare County, Currituck County and the North Carolina coast now under a Hurricane Warning, which indicates that sustained winds of 74 miles per hour or higher are expected within 24 hours.
