Guests at Sandpiper Crossing can walk or bike to the beach, just a half mile away. While you're there, visit the Avalon Fishing Pier or grab lunch at Awful Arthurs. On the other side of the Avalon neighborhood, guests can take a short walk to the community sound access for launching kayaks and SUP's, along with a boat ramp for larger vessels. In the evenings, stroll down the picturesque Bay Drive while admiring the breathtaking waterfront sunsets.

Centrally located at Milepost 6.5 in Kill Devil Hills, Sandpiper Crossing is conveniently close to everything you'll need during your stay. Department stores, grocery stores, spas, a movie theater and coffee shop are within a mile radius. The nearby dining options are all local favorites and include the Jolly Roger, Chili Peppers and Goombays.

Can’t stay an entire week? Sandpiper Crossing is available for short stays with flexible arrival/departure options. For guests who like to plan ahead, partial week stays (three-night minimum) can be reserved months in advance. Choose any day of the week for check-in and check-out.
