This home is on a large bulkheaded soundfront lot and is the southernmost soundfront lot in Kitty Hawk Landing. It offers some of the most expansive sound views anywhere from Corolla to Nags Head. To the west, you see the endless water view of the Albemarle Sound. To the south, you see the shoreline and marsh lands of the NC Coastal Reserve.

The entire master bath has great views through a bay window overlooking the sound. One of the other bedrooms features a large sitting area, which could be used as an additional bedroom or office. The 4th bedroom has views of the canal to the east and the Reserve and sound to the south. There is a octagonal enclosed Shipswatch on the 3rd level with a wet bar and mini refrigerator. Access to an outside walkway around the Shipswatch provides a great spot for observing the many spectacular sunsets offered by this home's location. Just a short drive down Ivy Lane is the Kitty Hawk Landing Association boat launch and ramp with parking and a picnic area for use by residents of the community.

The Association also has deeded ocean front beach access in Kitty Hawk at the south end of Poseidon St with Association reserved parking and outside showers across the Beach Road from the walkway over the dune to the ocean.
