The Ocrafolk Festival enters its 16th year of providing a weekend of great music, storytelling, artists, crafts, family friendly events, an auction, square dance and more.
The Ocrafolk Festival is a wonderful community event. This island tradition takes place the first weekend in June every year. The festival kicks off on Friday night, traditionally featuring an auction which provides the opportunity to join the bidding on dozens of amazing items. Saturday offers a full day of music and storytelling. Artists and craftsmen will be displaying and selling their work. Sunday offers a Gospel sing and more music throughout the day!
The Ocrafolk Festival is held in the heart of Ocracoke Village on a combination of public and private properties. Although we won’t restrict access to the festival (aside from specially ticketed events), we do ask that all festival attendees purchase an admission button for the weekend. This helps ensure that the festival stays happy and healthy for years to come! Buttons can be purchased Saturday morning of the festival at the info/merchandise booth (Don't worry about having a button for the Friday night events).
