July 10. Village at Nags Head 5K.First one of the summer

Yesterday was the kick off day for the 2014 Annual Running through the Village at Nags Head. We started this last year and it was very popular with our guests, other visitors and our employees too. We partnered with Outer Banks RunCations and volunteers from Village Realty help out at each race, handing out water, handing medals and cleaning up too. All the time shouting out encouragement to the runners. It is always inspiring to see families running together. Aftwards there is a free breakfast prepared by The Shore Chef. The race starts and ends at the Outer Banks Mall in Nags Head. Milepost 14.

Anyone can participate. The race fee for adults is $38 and includes an event t-shirt, finishers medal, chip timing and breakfast. It is $30 for teens 13-17 and $28 for kids ages 12 and under. The next race is July 17. You can register here. So, if you want to mix in some fitness with your beach vacation, here you go. Come mingle with some Village Realty People.
