Batter Up! The Outer Banks has their own baseball team..the Outer Banks Daredevils. This team is one of fifteen in the Coastal Plain League which is a summer collegiate league offering experience for collage baseball players in a wood bat environment and gives them a chance to refine skills needed for the pro level. The players come from Division I, II and II as well as NAIA and some junior colleges. The league is sanctioned by the NCAA and Major League Baseball.
The summer has been announced and our Daredevils will be playing 30 games at the First Flight Baseball Complex in Kill Devil Hills, NC. The Daredevils will also be hosting the 2013 TSL All Star Game on June 30, 2013 at the First Flight Baseball Complex. Game time is 7:30 pm.
Opening Night is May 28th…Virginia Blasters vs Outer Banks Daredevils. Come out for some family fun.
