Sarah Spencer hails originally from Richmond, Virginia. While attending college at James Madison University, she spent summers on the Outer Banks. Longing for the beach, she and her husband returned for good in 1997. Sarah's fondness of real estate and home building started at an early age. Her father was a custom builder back in her hometown of Richmond. Sarah can remember tagging along on walk-throughs and helping with punch lists since the age of nine.

Dear Dorie and Andrew, We would like to tell you about our house buying experience with Lisa Ammons. We were lead to Lisa by our daughter-in-law who spoke with her regarding a rental home in Corolla for August of this past summer. We have never met a more caring, diligent, hard working, and wonderful broker as Lisa. During our vacation in Corolla we spent a couple of mornings with Lisa looking at properties. On the last day of our vacation, Aug. 25, we found a place we really liked in the Village of Nags Head. While we made a subsequent trip to the Outer Banks to confirm our interest in this home and to look at about a dozen more properties, just to make sure we were doing the right thing, Lisa was always there to help us. There were a number of ups and downs during the negotiations with the seller and her agent and Lisa was constantly on the phone and exchanging emails with us. You wouldn't believe the amount of communication that we had with her. She helped with inspections, mortgage companies, and even recommended a contractor for necessary repair work. She was amazing and we could have never purchased our home in Nags Head while living in Pittsburgh without her. The amount of work she did to help us make our dream come true is not commensurate with her commission on the purchase.
