Village Realty’s Policies on renting homes that allow Weddings, Receptions, Corporate Packages or Special Events
Type of event: Will it be a wedding, a reception, corporate event,etc. Will the event be inside, outside or both? What are your alternative plans in case of inclement weather? How many guests will be expected for this event? Will you have a DJ? Are you renting several homes?
We will want information regarding your caterer, food stations, etc. and the name of your Wedding Coordinator if applicable.
Each home has a set number that it sleeps. This is the set occupancy for this home and cannot be exceeded. The number allowed for the event in each home will be set by Village Realty and will be for the day of the event ONLY not for overnight stay.
The rental rate for each property is set by the owner and subject to change.
All homes regardless of season will have a $1,500.00 security deposit. The security deposit must be paid in full 30 days prior to your arrival. Security deposit must be paid by separate check (no credit cards accepted.) If no damage is reported, you will be refunded the full amount within 45 days after check-out.
A representative of Village Realty will go with the leaseholder at check in to do a complete walk through of the property. If you are a late arrival an inspection will be completed prior to your check in. This will be repeated again upon departure. All problems should be reported during this time.
There is a special event fee of $1000.00. This fee will cover bed linens, towels, administrative fee, house cleaning, spot carpet cleaning and trash removal. It does not cover damage to the property, excessive carpet cleaning, excessive trash left at the home or excessive cleaning of pool or hot tub.
Check in time is 4:00 p.m. If the home is clean and ready prior to 4:00 we will give out the keys. There are no scheduled early check-ins for event homes.
Check out time is 10:00 a.m. The home should be left tidy, with all furniture back in its original place. Our office will schedule an appointment with the leaseholder for a walk through. This is for your protection to avoid unexpected security deposit deductions.
Most private pools are open mid May to mid October. Please check the information/description for the home you are renting. If the pool requires more than the standard cleaning a hold will be placed against your security deposit. Dance floors over the pool are not permitted.
Pets are not allowed in a non-pet home for any reason. No Exceptions. Allowing a pet in a home that does not allow them is a violation of the rental agreement and may result in termination of your tenancy and forfeiture of your security deposit.
Parking on streets is not allowed in any area. Contact our office for parking spaces available at the house and if there is nearby beach accesses for additional parking.
All alcohol must be consumed on the property. No cash bars allowed. No under age drinking is permitted.
Each community has different rules and regulations regarding parking, tents, construction of gazebos or arbors. Please check with our office for details on the home that you have chosen.
