The 2011 Outer Banks Photo Contest

There were over 2,700 photos submitted in the annual OBX photo contest in 2011 and almost all of these will be added to our websites and used in print and online advertising. This event has become very popular and Village Realty employees enjoyed choosing the finalists and Grand Prize Winner.

The Grand Prize winner receives an off season week in an Outer Banks vacation rental home (managed by Village Realty) and the first runner up wins a two night stay (off season) in a Village Realty vacation rental and a gift certificate to a local restaurant.

The category winners will receive a prize chosen by Village Realty and may pertain to the photo category if possible. Some will get gift certificates that may be used towards a stay in a Village Realty vacation property and there are also restaurant gift certificates and additional stays at First Colony Inn Bed and Breakfast in Nags Head.

The 2012 OBX Photo Contest will begin in April and will run through the end of September. As always, no purchase is necessary. Please check back for start dates, rules and the entry form. Village Realty said: The OBX is a very popular place for weddings and no wonder. The ocean, the sun, the gentle breezes and the background are the perfect setting.
