The Outer Banks Maratahon is an annual event on the Outer Banks of North Carolina and enjoys excellent support from the community.
The race takes place mid November and winds through the natural beauty that is the Outer Banks. Locals will be cheering runners on from the starting point to the finish line and the participants will hear music, encouragement and support. The Outer Banks Half Marathon is held on the same day and begins in Nags Head, near Jockey's Ridge.
The Outer Banks 8K starts in Kill Devil Hills at First Flight High School track and continues through the Nags Head Woods Maritime Forest. Walker friendly course.

The Bucanner 5K is an out and back course and begins at First Flight High School track. Walker friendly.
