The Bungalow Beach House is a one story "vintage" OBX vacation home; nothing fancy here. It is a reminder of days gone by in Nags Head, when things were slower and simpler. Facing the Beach Road and less than 500' to the ocean, this home does have a private swimming pool. Three bedrooms, two baths; one with tub and shower and the other with a tub only. Beds: two queen beds, one pyramid bunk with a trundle bed. The bed linens and bath towels are provided and beds are made prior to check in. Pet friendly.

Hermione Higgenbottham was getting very anxious. She wanted to find a suitable (affordable) little place to rent on the Outer Banks ... someplace where her small family could relax and enjoy the beach.

Hermione was not very "techie" and was somewhat intimidated about looking online for a vacation rental home.

Finally, she decided to "Google" the term "three bedroom beach house with pool outer banks nc" and Voila! She saw a listing for a home named The Bungalow Beach House. She crossed her well manicured nails and clicked to the page.

The three bedrooms would work just perfectly for the children's room. Her mother could stay in one queen bedroom and she and Howard (her husband) would have the other. "Well, so far so good" thought Hermione.

Now, they really must bring Barkley with them, their pet Yorkshire Terrier who was truly a member of the family. Oh my goodness, The Bungalow Beach House was pet friendly. How perfectly lovely. And The Bungalow Beach House had a no smoking policy. Hermione could not stand cigarette smoke.

She read on ... good beach access, that was important. Outside shower so the children could rinse off their sandy feet every day. Two full baths...one with a tub only...no shower but that was fine because she only took baths anyway. Washer and dryer, good. Fully equipped kitchen, good. There is a pool; that was a must.

What a nice surprise...bed linens and bath towels were included too! The beds were made!

Oh my, thought Hermione, I shall most certainly reserve this cozy, vintage beach home. One click ... Book Now. She entered her information...Click again. It was done. Howard would be most pleased and the children would be ecstatic.

Now it was time to start the Yorkshire Pudding for supper.
