What's New2010 Heated Pool Dates: Pool is heated from May 1st/2nd to June 4th and again from August 28th/29th to October 15th.
DescriptionLocated on the Beach Road in Nags Head, this well-appointed and conveniently located Outer Banks vacation home features a short walk to the ocean, private pool (14' x 28'). The pool is heated from early May to early June and again from early September to mid October (only). There is also a hot tub, elevator and 'Southern Comfort' is pet friendly too! We permit dogs only, with a limit of two.
'Southern Comfort' offers 6 master bedrooms, computer with high-speed Internet access, 11 TVs, 1 VCR, 5 DVD players, stereo with CD and surround sound, rec room with pool table and golf game, 2 washers/dryers, 2 dishwashers, 2 refrigerators, icemaker, port-a-crib, high chair, baby gate, gas fireplace available mid September through end of April, gas grill, and outside shower. Guests will cross the 2 lane Beach Road to access the beach.
Guests of AW2 will also have access to the local YMCA during their stay. The Outer Banks YMCA, located in Nags Head, is a 28,000 sqft. facility offering activities for youth, teens and adults of all ages - perfect fun for the entire family! Enjoy the outdoor pool and water park, a 25-meter indoor pool and sauna, fitness center with state-of-the-art weight and cardio equipment, group exercise including spinning, interactive zone with video game-based equipment, massage therapy and hot tub, racquetball courts, skate park and full court gymnasium available for basketball, soccer and volleyball. Community Pool access = Access to the outdoor pool and the indoor heated pool at the YMCA.
'Southern Comfort' is a Non-Smoking vacation home. Pets are allowed: 2 dogs maximum. No cats please as owners are highly allergic. Disability Friendly Information is listed below.
Beds: 7 Kings, 1 Pyramid Bunk, 1 Bunkset, Queen Sleep Sofa. All bed linens and towels are furnished and beds are made prior to arrival. A starter set of toilet paper, paper towels and hand soaps is provided. Village Realty will clean the home on check out day.
