New for 2011: YMCA Access, includes two outdoor pools, indoor pool, fitness classes including spinning and yoga, racketball, skatepark and more. Plus, home recently added a heated private pool as well as many new amenities: two PlayStation 3 with Blu-Ray, DVR, iPod speaker system.

Village Beach Club access is no longer available.

What are some of Shore's Fun's best features?... A fabulous Oceanfront location on the Outer Banks in The Village at Nags Head, brand new heated private pool, elevator, hot tub and sauna, hardwood floors, new carpet, freshly painted, pet-friendly.

Other amenities inside at Shore's Fun include: 9 TVs, 3 VCRs, 5 DVDs, 2 Playstation 3 with Blu-Ray, iPod speaker system, high-speed Internet access (please bring your own laptop), pool table, large kitchen, gas fireplace available mid September through the end of April, complete sound system, video/book libraries, garage, free domestic long distance phone service as well as baby equipment including baby crib, high chair, and gate. In addition to the new heated private pool and hot tub, Shore's Fun offers these other outside amenities: hammock, two levels of wrap-around decks, large beach side deck, grill, and outside shower.

Beds: 3 Kings, 3 Queens, 2 Twins, 2 Bunk Sets. All bed linens and towels are furnished and beds are made prior to arrival. A starter set of toilet paper, paper towels and hand soaps is provided. Village Realty will clean the home on check out day.

Short Stays (3 night minimum) are available at this Outer Banks vacation rental home. During Holiday Weeks, we can be very flexible with check in days. For example; you may be able to rent a vacation home from a Wednesday to Wednesday or, for short stays, from Tuesday to Friday. We know it's important to stay connected. This Outer Banks vacation home does offer wireless (or wired) internet service (computer not included) at no additional charge. Please keep in mind the Outer Banks often experiences downtime with this service and it can take multiple days to resolve issues when they occur. Village Realty is happy to provide internet service as a back up when this occurs and our services are available at every check in location.

The Outer Banks YMCA, located in Nags Head, is a 28,000 sqft. facility offers activities for youth, teens and adults of all ages - perfect fun for the entire family! First Level: The entranceway is level with the driveway. Doorway is 36" wide. Elevator goes to all floors.

Mid Level: Accessible to dune top deck. 28" doors to all decks. 2-3" drop.

Top Level: Disability friendly bath with roll in shower in hallway; handrails in shower and toilet area. Open and spacious living area. Deck doors width is 28".

Perfect vacation home for a family with 4 generations ranging in ages from 1-73 years old. I don't think there is a more perfect beach home out there and we look forward to returning for the same week next year! -- Tabitha L.

We have been coming to the Outer banks since 1963. Now, my sister and I bring our mother, who is 86, to the Outer Banks for 2 weeks in May and 2 weeks in October. The house we rent from you is handicapped accessible and pet friendly with a marvelous dune deck and it is just perfect for our needs at present. We love having the sheets provided too!
