Location, Location, Location ~ This twelve bedroom oceanfront vacation home in Nags Head offers a private pool, hot tub and even an elevator. 'One of These Nights' was built and furnished for family fun on the Outer Banks and offers amenities and features that will please everyone…even your mother-in-law.
Recreation ~ The 15' x 25' private pool is heated from early May to early June and again from early September to mid October. There is a lounge deck and a poolside sound system and a hot tub.
Additional outdoor amenities include an outdoor shower, gas grill, cabana with shower and a dune deck with speakers. There is also a private walkway to the beach.
There is fun on every level ~ the ground floor has a rec room with a foosball table, Playstation II, surround sound home theater and a kitchen. Go up one level to the sports bar with four wall mounted tvs, its own A/V system, a pool table and a wet bar with refrigerator, icemaker and microwave. On the top floor you have spectacular ocean views and a 50" HDTV surround sound home theater system, a gas fireplace (available from mid September to end of April) and a wet bar and loft. The loft is the perfect place to have a cold drink or that morning coffee, read a book or just enjoy the panoramic ocean views.
The kitchen and dining area are located on the top floor so you can take advantage of those views. This kitchen offers upscale commercial appliances along with granite countertops and beautiful tile.
Woo Hoo! No more lugging groceries and suitcases and even little ones up all those stairs…there is an elevator!
Relaxation ~ You don't have to make the beds when you get here…Village Realty will take care of that before you check in because you are on vacation! Bed sizes: 9 king beds, 1 queen bed, 4 bunk beds and 2 trundle beds. Sleeps 30 people. Bath towels are also furnished but don't forget your beach towels. There are twelve full baths and one half bath.
Special Needs Information - On the ground level there is a ramp to the front door for easy access to elevator just inside foyer. 40 inch wide slider doorways to outside decks on levels 2 and 3. Bedroom 8 has a disability friendly bath with roll under sink and roll in shower (2 inch lip), hand rails at toilet only. Bedroom 12 also has disability friendly bath with roll under sink and roll in shower. Hand rails at toilet only.
For the Little Ones ~ Two high chairs and two pack n' plays.
Policies ~ No pets please. No smoking policy. Saturday check in day and during the fall, spring and winter months we can be more flexible with the check in day. Please note that the published rate is inclusive with the exception of the optional but recommended travel insurance and of course, NC taxes. Fifteen TVs and four DVD players plus one VCR.
Parking is available for between 7-10 cars depending on size and how you park them. .
Just a Note ~ This home is new to our program for the 2012 season and was formerly named 'The Moon' with another Outer Banks real estate firm.
When you get out and about on the OBX we recommend a day trip to Roanoke Island (Manteo) where you should catch a performance of The Lost Colony Outdoor Drama…always a crowd pleaser. Make sure you visit the Elizabethan Gardens and Roanoke Island Festival Park too and save some time to take in the NC Aquarium.
Nearby is Jockey's Ridge and The Wright Brothers Monument and just a little bit further north is Corolla and Carova where you may see some of the famous Corolla wild horses.
You are close to a very nice bowling alley, movie theaters and art galleries as well as some unique shops. The Nags Head Fishing Pier is not far away and the perfect place to "catch" breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Information ~ We have some of the best restaurants anywhere and are happy to suggest some to you based on the size and age range of your group. It is always a good idea if you have a large party to call ahead and ask if the restaurant can accommodate your group. Some of our favorite places ~ Basnight's Lone Cedar Cafe on the causeway to Manteo, Sugar Creek, also on the causeway, Owen's on the Beach Road in Nags Head and Lucky 12 also on the Beach Road in Nags Head. Kelly's is always a good bet and can usually accommodate large groups with some notice.
