You might have blown out your flip flops, but we have your 'lost shaker of salt' right here in South Nags Head. This is a kid and adult friendly paradise close to all the action. Just .7 miles south of Whalebone Junction (and Sam and Omie's), it's quiet yet near to the outlet mall and small stores in Nags Head and Manteo.
An elevator helps those who need it and makes lugging the groceries upstairs a breeze. Our third floor spacious living area with 60" large screen TV allows the adults to chill while the first floor game room with two arcade games, pool table, foosball, dart board, and Gameboy keeps the children entertained.
There is an 8' x 8' filtered kiddie pool along with a hot tub and a full size in-ground pool. Out back is a pirate play ship and a five hole miniature golf course. A pitching mat helps the adults tune their golf game. Each of the eight bedrooms has its own TV with VCR. Movies are provided for the young and old.
The second floor screened in porch has a hammock swing and plenty of chairs. Enjoy the large third floor deck where there are wonderful ocean views. Our kitchen has been stocked to the max with everything you need for your stay. Add this to a 200' walk to a public beach access and you have the making for a perfect Outer Banks vacation.
Fronts the Beach Road in South Nags Head (guests cross the 2 lane Beach Road to access the ocean). 16' x 34' private pool and kiddie pool (8'x8'). Hot Tub, Rec Room with Pool Table, 2 arcade games, foosball table, Karaoke machine & GameBoy, refrigerator & wet bar. Gas fireplace available mid September through the end of April. Elevator, 3 master bedrooms, 11 TVs, 9 VCRs, 4 DVDs, 2 stereos with CD players, 7 phones. Screened porch, hammock swing. Pirate Playship & 5 hole, private miniature Putt-Putt. 1 park grill, picnic table, sun & covered decks, built in benches,"open-air" outside shower by the pool area. There are 2 high chairs, 2 pack-n-plays, a baby monitor, and lots of toys & games. Also 2 dishwashers, 2 refrigerators with icemakers, 2 microwaves & 2 washers/dryers. Distance to beach access is approx. 200 feet.
Beds: 5 Kings, 1 Queen, 2 Bunk sets and 1 Pyramid Bunk with trundle bed. All bed linens and towels are furnished and beds are made prior to arrival. A starter set of toilet paper, paper towels and hand soaps is provided. Village Realty will clean the home on check out day.
Non-Smoking. Short Stays (3 night minimum) are available at this Outer Banks vacation rental home. During Holiday Weeks, we can be very flexible with check in days. For example; you may be able to rent a vacation home from a Wednesday to Wednesday or, for short stays, from Tuesday to Friday. We know it's important to stay connected. This Outer Banks vacation home does offer wireless (or wired) internet service (computer not included) at no additional charge. Please keep in mind the Outer Banks often experiences downtime with this service and it can take multiple days to resolve issues when they occur. Village Realty is happy to provide internet service as a back up when this occurs and our services are available at every check in location.

Lost shaker of salt had it all!! We had such a wonderful time. We came down for the marathon weekend and 10 out of the 11 family members ran! When we weren't eating out or running we loved the huge variety of entertainment available in the house. It was well laid out and in the perfect locale. Once again we will return and we will use Village Realty.
*only snafu was a mix up with holding a reservation and when we called to confirm they said it had been rented, we searched again and when calling to rent our 2nd choice, told our first choice was never rented it was us holding it. It all worked out, but good to know....also updated Tvs would be the only improvement. Also a huge fan of the keyless entry. With a large group it made it very easy. Have owned and rented on Outer Banks for 40 years. Your house is the best! The baby pool was great for our 2 grandbabies. Kitchen has everything you could need. House layout great. This was our 5th time renting a house in Nags Head for our annual family reunion and this house is definitely our Favorite! I'm almost sorry we didn't have a rainy day so I could more fully explore all there is to do inside. We've all had a blast and can't wait until next year so we can do it all over again. The weather was heavenly and the house is amazing. What a wonderful place to reconnect with our family. The pool and hot tub were well used and access to the beach was very convenient. You have thought of everything to make this pleasant and homey-we will be back. The game room is the best we have ever had on our 18 years on the Outer Banks. Thanks for a wonderful vacation away from PA. The weather was wonderful and we enjoyed the pool. All the kids enjoyed the trains, the kitchen and the gamecube. Loved the house! We had 10 adults and 8 children, there was enough for everyone to do. We cooked a lot so we enjoyed the well equipped kitchen. The beach was nice and close and we used the pool and hot tub. Adults and children were using the arcade games, plenty of toys for the children. -- Reineck
