Calling all Gypseas to the Palace in South Nags Head - you can treat it like your own. Rock your cares away on the western decks and enjoy the sunsets over the sound. Once the sun sets, the Bodie island Lighthouse beacon will take you back to the maritime history of the area. Ideally located in quiet South Nags Head with easy access to areas north and south, including the Wright Brothers Memorial, Bodie Island Lighthouse, Pea Island, Oregon Inlet Fishing Center, Cape Hatteras National Seashore, Manteo and the outlets.
27' x 17' Private heated pool, (heated from early May to early June and again from early September till mid October). The pool has a Cabana. Ship's Watch, Elevator, hot tub and a whirlpool tub. 12 TVs (52" HDTV in the rec room), 10 VCRs, 4 DVD players, stereo w/CD, wireless high speed Internet access (please bring your own computer), 4 Oceanfront bedrooms, gas fireplace available mid September through the end of April, den, Rec Room w/Pool Table & Foosball, double oven, wetbar, 2 dishwashers, 2 refrigerators, 2 microwaves, screened porch, hammock swings, rocking chairs, port-a-crib, high chair, gas grill and a charcoal grill, volleyball, horseshoes, enclosed outside shower, basketball goal.
Beds: 4 Kings, 2 Queens, 2 Twins, 2 Pyramid Bunks. All bed linens and towels are furnished and beds are made prior to arrival. A starter set of toilet paper, paper towels and hand soaps is provided. Village Realty will clean the home on check out day.
Non-Smoking. No Pets. Short Stays (3 night minimum) are available at this Outer Banks vacation rental home. During Holiday Weeks, we can be very flexible with check in days. For example; you may be able to rent a vacation home from a Wednesday to Wednesday or, for short stays, from Tuesday to Friday. Please call our office to reserve partial week stays; please call 800.548.9688 in Nags Head. We know it's important to stay connected. This Outer Banks vacation home does offer wireless (or wired) internet service (computer not included) at no additional charge. Please keep in mind the Outer Banks often experiences downtime with this service and it can take multiple days to resolve issues when they occur. Village Realty is happy to provide internet service as a back up when this occurs and our services are available at every check in location.

Elevator goes to all floors. There is a 4" lip to the entrance at ground level. Access to the pool is through slider door on this level.

Access to sun deck and dunetop deck; no steps.
The disability friendly master bedroom has a roll in shower with folding seat and grab bars and a roll under sink
Top Level -
Very spacious, great ocean views and deck access via slider doors (28" wide)

We went to the house next door, also a lovely house for two or 3 years before. I got your information from the front of SN42 and was able to get "The Gypseas in the Palace" during the memorial day week for 2009 and was pleasantly surprised we did not have to make the beds and had more kitchen appliances available. We met the family next door this year and found that they have been coming every year for 5-6 years. Our family looks forward to our vacation there each year and we truly appreciate Village Realty. I don't know your staff by name but we have always been treated well and thanks to each of you for making our stay so great! -- Carol W.

We love to rent this house in the fall for our family annual fishing trip. This is a large spacious house with lots of amenities. The bedrooms are large and comfortable. Great views. Very quiet in the fall.

This was our first vacation to Nags Head and it was wonderful. Gypseas is a fantastic, beautiful home that we all enjoyed very much. We can't imagine anything nicer or more convenient with the pool and the beach just steps away. If and when we come back to Nags Head we will certainly contact Village Realty!
One item we would recommend replacing is the gas grill. It has seen much better days and my husband had to light it with a lighter. Thank you very much for helping to make our stay the wonderful vacation it was.

This makes our third year of enjoyment at Gypseas in the Palace. As we all arrive and unpack, we feel we have returned to our summer home. The atmosphere is very restful. Both views are great. Your recreational equipment keeps everyone occupied. We look forward to more vacations at Gypseas in the Palace. --

After spending a week, last year, in another house further north and not oceanfront, the pictures that were taken of great grandma Marge's "week at the beach" made all of her daughters and their offspring want to come and share in the next year's adventure with great grandma. This house , "Gypseas" was really the perfect place for that adventure. All the daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren and great grandchildren came together to celebrate a week with great grandma Marge. If everyone's schedules mesh again next year for a similiar get-together we would certainly try for another week at "Gypseas." --

What a blessing and a joy to be gypseas in your palace this week. We had another home rented and 5 days before our vacation was to begin the realtor had to tell us that we could not have it due to some construction issues. A moment of slight panic - and then we got busy online looking for other properties. The Lord provided this amazing house - incredible.

We all met together here for a week of full of RnR. We played games, had great food, watched movies and played on the beach. It was a little chilly at the beginning of the week but the weather was great the last few days. The men went fishing Sunday and caught 28 fish - 240 lbs! Needless to say, we had fish for supper a couple nights of the week.
The house was better than we expected, very well stocked kitchen...we enjoyed all the amenities! Gavin, 2 1/2, especially enjoyed the "ella-lator." The week was all we wanted, expected and needed...We hope to be back next year! --
