Comfortable and casual elegance sums up this Pirate's Cove vacation home. This community offers excellent amenities for both boaters and land lovers, featuring a community pool, clubhouse, tennis courts and fitness center. Come down to the docks and watch the charter boats come in with their catch ... the kids will love it.

Hurricane Mo's Restaurant is on site and serves up fresh local seafood and other fare daily. Charter boat trips can be booked out of the Marina. Six or more big game tournaments are held yearly out of Pirate's Cove and a courtesy van is available during those times.

Ballast Point 85 is well-equipped with a welcoming decor inside the home and a private 30' dock outside for your boat! This Pirate's Cove retreat has great views of the Roanoke Sound and offers four bedrooms plus a "bonus" room with a twin bed. Bed sizes: 3 Kings, 1 Pyramid Bunk with Trundle, 1 Twin and a Sleeper Sofa. All the beds linens and towels are provided for you and the beds will be made prior to check in. There are two master bedrooms (private bath attached). There are three TVs, a DVD player, VCR and high speed internet access - please bring your own laptop.

No need to bring baby equipment along or rent it; a Pack'n'Play and a highchair are provided.

We know it's important to stay connected. This Outer Banks vacation home does offer wireless (or wired) internet service (computer not included) at no additional charge. Please keep in mind the Outer Banks often experiences downtime with this service and it can take multiple days to resolve issues when they occur. Village Realty is happy to provide internet service as a back up when this occurs and our services are available at every check in location.

Ballast Point Villa 85 has a Saturday check in day. Pets are not allowed and there is a no smoking policy. Holiday Rates apply for Thanksgiving week. Short Stays (less than a week) are available at this Outer Banks vacation rental home; there is a 3 night minimum. During Holiday Weeks like Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years, we can be very flexible with check in days. For example; you may be able to rent a vacation home from a Wednesday to Wednesday or Monday to Monday ... or, for short stays, from Tuesday to Friday, etc. Please call 800-548-9688 for rates and other details.

Outside amenities include a gas grill and outdoor shower.

Please note that although there is a fireplace it is not available for guests' use.

You are close to some famous Outer Banks attractions including the Pirate's Cove Marina itself, Roanoke Island, Queen Elizabeth II and Jockey's Ridge. For those nights out we recommend Lone Cedar and Sugar Creek Restaurant, both on the causeway, and the firsherman's breakfast at Sam & Omie's in Nags Head.
