'Ashley's Pink House' is an 8 bedroom pet friendly OBX vacation home in Nags Head. This 14' x 28' private pool (heated from early May to early June and from early September to mid October), elevator (elevator goes to all floors), hot tub, Tiki Bar, rec room/media room with pool table and a large screen TV, 10 TV/DVDs (including two 42" Plasma TVs), high-speed wireless Internet access (please bring your laptop), 2 dishwashers, 2 full size refrigerators, 5 burner range with double oven & a bar refrigerator. Washer/Dryer, stereo w/surround sound. Each bedroom has a private bath, one is handicap friendly. Beautifully decorated & furnished. Backyard area includes the private pool and horseshoes!

Beds: 4 Kings, 2 Queens, 2 Twins, 2 Bunksets. There are eight master bedrooms with premium bedding on each (upgraded mattresses and box springs). All bed linens and towels are furnished and beds are made prior to arrival. A starter set of toilet paper, paper towels and hand soaps is provided. Village Realty will clean the home on check out day.

This vacation home fronts the Beach Road in Nags Head and guests cross the 2 lane Beach Road to access the beach and Ocean where you will find the private Village at Nags Head Beach Access and Bath House about 150 yards away. The Bath House provides bathrooms and showers for your convenience.

We know it's important to stay connected. This Outer Banks vacation home does offer wireless (or wired) internet service (computer not included) at no additional charge. Please keep in mind the Outer Banks often experiences downtime with this service and it can take multiple days to resolve issues when they occur. Village Realty is happy to provide internet service as a back up when this occurs and our services are available at every check in location.

My husband's family has been vacationing in the OBX since his childhood and I have been vacationing there for the last 4 years. This property was by far the best property that we have visited thus far. Having the linens provided was great. In the past we have had to travel on airplanes with sheets and towels and it was a big hassle. We have also stayed in properties with run down back yards and bug problems. This was not an issue with the Ashley's Pink House. It was beautifully decorated and clean...with no bugs. We had an issue with one of the ovens and the maintance man was at the home quickly and was very nice. Lastly, the keyless entry was an extra special bonus. It made coordinating 5 cars and checking in a breeze.
I would like to rent from you again in 2012. We are looking to upgrade to a possible beach front or semi-beach front property.

May, 2011: This house is WONDERFUL! My husband rented "Ashley's Pink House" for our family and friends to celebrate my 60th birthday. We welcomed friends the first of the week and then family starting on Wednesday. The house was "loaded" with people, however, very roomy so no one area was crowded at any time, even at eating times. I found my daughter at one point in the sitting area nook doing work for her Masters degree and at another time when coming through that area found her son in the same location (nice and quiet area) doing his homework to finish out his senior year.
The kitchen is "fully loaded" with anything you might need. The house is very clean and well taken care of. The pool area is large enough to accomodate all the people and the grassy area near the pool was wonderful for lawn games of which we played many times. The grassy area is not usually found at many of the houses. Everyone reported that they slept the best they had in a long time, no matter what the age. Was it the nice ocean breeze? or the wonderful bedding? Don't know, but it was all good. The location was great. Grocery store and Dollar Tree right around the block to the rear, however, the area around the house was very quiet. Note this was a quieter time of year, not during the high season of summer. Walking to the beach access was close and easy and was very accommodating with the nice bathhouse. We wheeled my 84 year old mom to the beach access and up the easy ramp in her wheelchair where she was able to sit in the gazebo and watch as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren played in the sand, flew kites and fished.
The owner of the house is wonderful and called to check in on us, even taking care of a small maintenance situation we had within an hour of our discussion. Our stay at "Ashley's Pink House" was a wonderful experience and we would all recommend it to anyone --

May, 2009: Ashley's Pink House was a beautiful house and great way to spend our vacation. We came in for a wedding the week of Memorial Day and had a blast in the hot tub, pool, playing poker in the game room, and grilling out. The layout is very open, the decor is beautiful, and all of the bedrooms have their own private baths. It easily held 16 people and a dog! The owner of the house even came by to make sure we were having a great time -- which we were! There are multiple places for people to hang out in the house, especially for privacy, with 4 porches and the beach right across the street. I would definitely recommend Ashley's Pink House and hope to be able to experience Village Realty's hospitality again --
