Cowabungalow offers two master suites, including one with a whirlpool tub and direct deck access. From the 8' x 35' covered oceanfront terrace, there is a view of the pool and the spa area. The ocean view is partially obstructed by a small outbuilding (please see photos of the view). The third bedroom has a pyramid bunk bed with a semi-private bathroom. All baths are finished in quarried slate with granite countertops, copper accents and antique bronze fixtures.
Lavish is the only way to describe these community surroundings. The 80 ft long oceanfront pool and extensive outdoor complex includes lush greenery, secluded in-ground spa area, partially shaded children's pool area complete with "spray ground" and zero-edge wading pool, dunetop boardwalk, gazebo and shower sprays. This outdoor oasis offers the perfect complement to the unspoiled beaches of the Outer Banks. The elaborate indoor complex is a masterpiece of cut-stone, tile and hardwood. The indoor heated pool, open year-round, is accentuated with a translucent roof, perfect to catch the sun during the day and swim under the stars at night. The exercise area and arcade offer entertainment for all ages.
Other amenities for Cowabungalow include: 4 TVs, 4 DVDs, hi-speed wireless Internet (please bring your own laptop), stereo, fireplace available mid September through the end of April, and outdoor grill access.
No smoking. No pets. Published rates are inclusive with the exception of NC taxes and the optional trip insurance.
There are three elevators in the community for your convenience. Covered parking allows for two cars with additional outdoor overflow parking.
Bedding: 2 Kings, 1 Pyramid, Queen Sleeper Sofa. All bed linens and towels are furnished and beds are made prior to arrival. A starter set of toilet paper, paper towels and hand soaps is provided. Village Realty will clean the home on check out day. There are two master bedrooms (private bath attached) and one bath which is accessible from a bedroom and the living area. Some particulars: Saturday check in day. Located near Mile Post 7.5 on the Beach Road in Kill Devil Hills.
The pools are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and lockers are available on the ground level for individual use, please bring your own lock.
Short Stays (less than a week) are available at this Outer Banks vacation rental home. During Holiday Weeks like Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years, we can be very flexible with check in days. For example; you may be able to rent a vacation home from a Wednesday to Wednesday or Monday to Monday ... or, for short stays, from Tuesday to Friday, etc. Please call 800.548.9688 for rates and other details
We know it's important to stay connected. This Outer Banks vacation home does offer wireless (or wired) internet service (computer not included) at no additional charge. Please keep in mind the Outer Banks often experiences downtime with this service and it can take multiple days to resolve issues when they occur. Village Realty is happy to provide internet service as a back up when this occurs and our services are available at every check in location.
2012 Oceanfront Pool Dates at the Croatan Surf Club: The outdoor pool is open from April 1st through the end of October (weather permitting). The indoor heated pool is open all year. Hours are from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
