Kill Devil Hills Homes (East of US Hwy 158/Croatan Hwy

Trash is picked up year-round on Mondays and Thursdays. Recycling pickup is on Mondays, year-round.

Nags Head Homes (East of U.S. Hwy. 158/Croatan Hwy. and South Nags Head)

Summer Schedule (beginning the third week in May): Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday

Winter Schedule (beginning the last Monday in September): Monday and Friday

Recycling pickup is on Tuesdays, year-round.

Nags Head Homes (West of U.S. Hwy. 158/Croatan Hwy)

Trash is picked up year ’round on Tuesday and Friday. Recycling pickup is on Tuesdays.

Other Nags Head Golf Course Neighborhoods

Linkside, Ridges, and Captain’s Watch, Sea Watch, and Reflections have dumpsters conveniently located within their neighborhoods. You are responsible for bagging and depositing your own trash.

Condominiums

All the condominiums have dumpsters; you should bag and deposit your own trash.

Homes in Corolla

The Currituck Club - Trash can roll out/back service is provided in this community for the months of June, July, Aug, and Sept. Empty trash cans at the street will be rolled back to the house year round. While staying at this house, you won’t have to worry about rolling the trash cans to the street or back to the house.

Spindrift -Trash can roll out/ back service is provided on this community year round. While staying at this house, you won’t have to worry about rolling the trash cans to the street or back to the house.

Whalehead -Trash can roll out/ back service is provided on this community year round. While staying at this house, you won’t have to worry about rolling the trash cans to the street or back to the house.

Corolla Light - Please pull your trash cans to the street the night before trash pick up, a Corolla Light employee will return the trash cans to the proper place after pick up.

Pine Island - Trash can roll out/ back service is provided on this community year round. While staying at this house, you won’t have to worry about rolling the trash cans to the street or back to the house.

Buck Island - Trash can roll out/ back service is provided on this community year round. While staying at this house, you won’t have to worry about rolling the trash cans to the street or back to the house.

Windswept Ridge Villas - Dumpsters are available, you are responsible for bagging and depositing your own trash.

All properties served by our Corolla office have trash pick-up on Wednesday and Saturday (recycling is picked up on Saturdays only) from mid May to mid September. All other times of the year, trash and recyclables are picked up on Wednesdays only.

Thank you for your attention to these schedules. Please do not leave your trash in the house or in the trash receptacles under the house. This is important for you as well as those coming after you.

The large roll-out trash receptacles must be out the night before pick-up, as the trucks come very early in the morning. Receptacles must be rolled to the edge of the street with the handles facing the house. The trash is picked up by automated trucks and must be positioned correctly. Please roll the cans back after pick-up.

Recycling Information
In Kill Devil Hills, the recycling drop-off is on West Ocean Bay Blvd off Colington Road.

In Nags Head the recycling drop-off is at Nags Head Town Hall, adjacent to the Village Realty check-in office.

In Corolla Recycling is picked up on Saturdays from May to mid September and on Wednesdays the rest of the year.
