This home sits on the highest point on the northern Outer Banks. Located in The Currituck Club in Corolla with outstanding, gorgeous views of the Ocean & the Currituck Sound! 28' x 14' private pool inside of fenced area w/locking gate. (CC188 is listed as soundfront although it is some distance from the Currituck Sound. This is because of the unobstucted views. You are able to get a good perspective on distance to the sound by viewing the virtual tour.)
8 TVs, 2 VCRs, 3 DVDs, computer & Internet access. Rec room with pool table, outside shower, decks, screened porch, gas grill. Ship's Watch with great views. There are also wonderful views of the sound from the back of the house. Great Location!
Non-Smoking. No Pets.
Beds: 3 Kings, 4 Twins. Queen Sleeper Sofa. All bed linens and towels are furnished and beds are made prior to arrival. A starter set of toilet paper, paper towels and hand soaps is provided. Village Realty will clean the home on check out day.

Three years and counting! We have just completed our third vacation at "The Edge" and have reserved it for a forth year. Our home away from home is a great get away. The home is beautiful and a wonderful place to stay. The location within a golf community, the pool, hot tub and fantastic view of the Sound are some of the reasons we continue to make the trip to the Outer banks from our home in Maryland.

This was, by far, our best vacation since all of our children were born. Most days offered a pleasant ocean breeze which allowed us to open the windows and give this beautiful home a more open and airy feel than usual. Because 'The Edge' is on one of the highest points in Corolla, the air never felt thick or sticky as the ocean breeze flowed through the house. Our children's uncle visited and we were able to provide him with a master bedroom on the first level. We stayed on the second level which had a master bedroom of its own along with two other bedrooms, a family room and a bathroom for the kids. Our three children, ages 5 (twins) and 7 loved the pool. They had a great time learning to swim or just playing with all of the pool toys that we found in the garage. Getting to the beach was easy since the Currituck Club trolley stop was a very short walk and within view of the house. The water temperatures were in the mid 70s and the beaches were beautiful and not crowded. Our children rode boogie boards and played in the sand with beach toys, all of which were found in the garage. The kitchen is very clean and well-equipped and there is a Harris Teeter grocery store that is easily accessible, so we ate at 'The Edge' every night. The dining room was very beautiful and spacious, but the weather just made us want to eat outside on the screened-in porch. After dinner we usually relaxed in the hot tub and watched the sun set over the sound. We have already made plans to return next year and we miss 'the Edge' already. -- The Wilson Family
