2010 Community Pool Dates for The Currituck Club:
Pool at the main entrance will open 5/15/10 and close 10/10/10.
The north pool will open 5/28/10 and close 9/6/10.
The Magnolia Bay pool will open 5/28/10 and close 9/6/10.

It features decks galore—front and back; up and down—and abundant furniture for your relaxing and viewing pleasure. For the ultimate in outside fun, 'Sounds Delightful' offers a huge pool—35'+; a covered hot tub, a completely private back yard and a brand new 4-burner stainless steel gas grill.

Inside, you'll enjoy watching your favorite shows on a 46" flat panel HDTV or your choice of five other sets or enjoy family time playing foosball. You can stay connected to the "real" world via the wireless, high speed internet (please bring your own computer). 'Sounds Delightful' offers a stereo, 2 DVDs, 2 VCRs, Play Station 2, and gas fireplace available mid September through the end of April. This home is baby-friendly with a high chair, pack-'n-play, and baby gate available for your use.

Our guests enjoy all Currituck Club amenities including tennis courts, community pools and the trolley service to the beach which runs throughout the summer months. The Currituck Club is truly a vacation destination spot on the northern Outer Banks.

Beds: 1 king, 2 queens, 2 twins and 1 pyramid bunk with a trundle. 'Sounds Delightful' can sleep 12 comfortably. Upon your arrival, you'll find all beds made, towels in place and a starter set of toilet paper, paper towels and soaps for your convenience.

Area attractions include the historical Whalehead Club and Currituck Lighthouse. And of course, the beautiful beaches.
There are two full service grocery stores open all year in Corolla. Both are very close to The Currituck Club; Harris-Teeter and Food Lion.

As for restaurants, take your pick ... there are several excellent choices. Mike Dianna's Grill room is located in the TimBuck Too Shopping Village. This outstanding restaurant features meats and fish cooked over mesquite grill. They have an outstanding wine selection. North Banks Restaurant and Raw Bar offers fresh local seafood and steaks.

If you crave some good NC BBQ, check out Sooey's BBQ and Rib Shack and Smokey's. If you are bringing kids, you know they will want pizza at least one night. Tomato Patch Pizzeria and The Pizza Guy will make the kids happy.

What a lovely home you have! The deck was perfect for cherishing the OBX sunsets--we got some beautiful pictures!! The upstairs master is one of the nicest we've ever stayed in. All ages enjoyed the big, comfortable couch, TV and dining table. The wonderful supply of games, puzzles and books were put to good use. We have been coming to the Outer Banks for many years, and have stayed in several different homes. This is our first visit to Currituck Club and we were pleasantly surprised with your home and the neighborhood. There was plenty of room for our 2 daughters and their husbands and baby J. too. The kids loved the T.V. and the pool. Best of all, it was close to the supermarket and nearby Timbuck II, which meant we never left the area. We plan on coming back again next year. --

We enjoyed our week in your lovely home. It was great to be close to the beach and yet be surrounded by nature. We watched the birds in the trees and over the Sound and twice we had a visit from the local fox. The kids especially enjoyed the bikes and the pool. This was our first visit to the Outer Banks and absolutely loved it. We stayed in your lovely home with another family and two teenage babysitters and had plenty of room. If we were not at the beach the children were always in the pool from morning till night. The large sectional sofa was also wonderful. We can't wait to return next year. -- The Schroeder Family
