If you have been to Corolla, you have noticed the pretty, colorful homes dotting the landscape on the left as you head north. These charmers are located in The Hammocks community within The Currituck Club, a very popular vacation destination spot on the northern Outer Banks.
With just over 70 homes in this neighborhood, you can see the attention to detail and feel the friendly atmosphere here. Not only do you have the wonderful amenities that are provided by The Currituck Club including several community pools, tennis courts, trolley service and more ... you are only minutes away from the outstanding beaches of Corolla and excellent shopping too. There are two large grocery stores nearby including the new Harris-Teeter where you can find ready made food, a great selection of wine and beers and outstanding customer service.
'Sound Spirit' is very nicely decorated and welcoming. This three bedroom retreat has a Tower Room complete with telescope and ocean views. See the ocean during the day and the stars at night. The Dining Room table has seating for 6 and additional seating in the Kitchen area with 2 bar stools, perfect for the whole family. The owners have thoughtfully provided something for everyone including two tennis rackets, two bikes, shuffleboard and air hockey table. There are two master bedrooms (bath attached) and one of them has a "soaking tub". Speaking of tubs, there is also a hot tub whcih accommodates six people.
There are three outdoor decks where you can soak up the sun, read a good book or just relax. Additional outdoor features and amenities include an outdoor shower and an enclosed yard. 'Sound Spirit' welcomes pets so you do not have to leave Spike or Barkley behind.
No Smoking Policy. Saturday Check In Day. Internet access is available (wireless; please bring your laptop computer).
Beds: 2 Kings, 1 Queen, Sleep Sofa in the Great Room. Relax ... All the bed linens and towels are provided for you and a starter set of paper products and soaps is also furnished.
Short Stays (less than a week) are available at this Outer Banks vacation rental home; there is a 3 night minimum. During Holiday Weeks like Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years, we can be very flexible with check in days. For example; you may be able to rent a vacation home from a Wednesday to Wednesday or Monday to Monday ... or, for short stays, from Tuesday to Friday, etc. Please call 877.546.5362 for rates and other details
We know it's important to stay connected. This Outer Banks vacation home does offer wireless (or wired) internet service (computer not included) at no additional charge. Please keep in mind the Outer Banks often experiences downtime with this service and it can take multiple days to resolve issues when they occur. Village Realty is happy to provide internet service as a back up when this occurs and our services are available at every check in location.

Sound Spirit is a fabulous beach home with all the comforts of your own home.
It was the perfect home for our mother/daughter vacation. Everything you needed was at your fingertips....The bedrooms were very spacious, and each room had a personality of it's own. I loved the Master Bathroom and the tub!
Cooking was a joy with all the kitchen conveniences you need when preparing our meals.
We throughly enjoyed the home and will definitely be returning again in the near future....
