The porch hammock at 'Mussel Beach' invites you to relax and reflect on a perfect beach vacation. Located in a beautiful maritime forest and professionally decorated, this 'guest friendly' home has everything! Walk to the community tennis courts and pool, ride bikes, stroll to the nearby beach or take the trolley to the beach, fitness center or clubhouse.

For your vacation pleasure ... a heated outdoor pool is now available at this Currituck Club vacation retreat. The pool at 'Mussel Beach' uses a saline system to convert salt to chlorine, which makes the water feel softer and does not dry out your skin or burn your eyes like chlorine pools sometimes can. The pool will be heated from early May to early June and again from early September to mid October.

In addition to great features like the Hot Tub, Whirlpool Tub, Screened Porch and High-Speed Internet Access (please bring your laptop), 'Mussel Beach' also offers 4 TVs including a 42" Emerson Plasma HDTV w/Sanyo Blu-Ray (Custom Audio to mount), high-def channels, NetFlix and surround sound in the Living Area, a Sony 32" LCD HDTV w/Sony Blu-Ray and high-def channels in the Master Suite, and a 20" LCD flat screen w/DVD in the queen bedroom. Other amenities include: IPOD docking station,1 VCR, 2 DVD players, Blu-Ray players, DVD library, a stereo w/CD, gas fireplace available mid September through the end of April, fax machine, printer, bikes, hammock, grill, outside shower, beach chairs, boogie boards, and ping pong table in the garage.

Parking is available for 3-4 cars. Non-Smoking. Pets Allowed.

Beds: 1 King, 1 Queen, 1 Pyramid Bunk w/ Trundle. All bed linens and towels are furnished and beds are made prior to arrival. A starter set of toilet paper, paper towels and hand soaps is provided. Village Realty will clean the home on check out day.

Short Stays (less than a week) are available at this Outer Banks vacation rental home. During Holiday Weeks, we can be very flexible with check in days. For example; you may be able to rent a vacation home from a Wednesday to Wednesday or, for short stays, from Tuesday to Friday. We know it's important to stay connected. This Outer Banks vacation home does offer wireless (or wired) internet service (computer not included) at no additional charge. Please keep in mind the Outer Banks often experiences downtime with this service and it can take multiple days to resolve issues when they occur. Village Realty is happy to provide internet service as a back up when this occurs and our services are available at every check in location.
