This 5 bedroom, 6 & ½ bath home (one house from the corner) is a short walk to the wide, clean, uncrowded, Whalehead Beach. Enjoy sunny days in the private pool and relaxing nights in the hot tub. This OBX home has lots of amenities and is perfect for family fun at the beach!

Ideal for bringing pets, 'Brigadune' is one of the very few homes with a separate fenced in yard for your dog.

14' x 26' in ground pool, hot tub. Game/Rec Room, foosball, wet bar, 2 microwaves, 2 full refrigerators with ice makers and Queen sleeper sofa, 5 TVs with 5 DVD/VCRs, Video library, 2 stereos with CD players, Gas fireplace available mid September through end of April, screened porch with gas grill and picnic table, 2 large enclosed outside showers, covered decks and sun decks, charcoal grill, picnic table, volleyball net, basketball goal, hammock swing, beach buggy for hauling your beach equipment, fish cleaning table.

Ships watch with good views of the ocean, fenced in yard for pets, high-speed Internet access (bring your own laptop). Baby equipment: baby crib, port-a-crib, high chair, booster seat, baby gates. Book library, games, puzzles, 6 beach chairs, and more. Approximate distance to beach access is 850 ft.

No Smoking, Pets Allowed. Parking for 3 cars under the house with additional parking in driveway.

Beds: 2 Kings, 1 Queen, 2 Twins, 1 Bunk, 1 Pyramid Bunk with Trundle, 1 Queen Sleeper Sofa. All bed linens and towels are furnished and beds are made prior to arrival. A starter set of toilet paper, paper towels and hand soaps is provided. Village Realty will clean the home on check out day.

We know it's important to stay connected. This Outer Banks vacation home does offer wireless (or wired) internet service (computer not included) at no additional charge. Please keep in mind the Outer Banks often experiences downtime with this service and it can take multiple days to resolve issues when they occur. Village Realty is happy to provide internet service as a back up when this occurs and our services are available at every check in location.

As a vacationer who travels with pets, this place had an awesome fenced in yard with a nice lawn. This is an amenity that's pretty hard to come by. Lots stores/restaurants in very close proximity. Many times had to make a quick trip to Food Lion, located about a block away, or took a walk up to DQ, inthe same plaza, for an after dinner cone. Beach is about two blocks away and you pass the house where all the lifeguards live for the season so plenty of watchful eyes on that stretch of beach.

We stayed in Brigadune a few years ago - and you're right, it's a great house too! Our dogs loved the fenced in yard. And being within walking distance of so much to see and do was an added bonus! -- Brenda J.

We have stayed here also. Loved this house, perfect for walking to the beach, the shops, Timbuc II area is easily walkable. Lovely views. gorgeous house, lovely big bright airey rooms, everything you could need. Loved the ships watch and gazing out over the sea home to England (but not missing it I should add!!) Also this house was extremely child friendly, lots of gates, all the child equipment you could need, we had our 15 month old (at the time) with us, and we knew that with the gated deck and all the baby gates inside she was safe running about. Oh i miss the OBX, wish we were not so far away. :( -- Sarah G.

We love Brigadune, it is an excellent house and having the sheets on the beds and towels is great. The kitchen is so well equipped - everything we needed was there. The fenced in backyard for the dogs, so very nice. -- Linda Ragsdale

We had a fabulous time at Brigadune this summer. It was wonderful to be able to spend time relaxing in the hot tub and pool, reading in the Ship's Watch, watching movies on the flat screen TV, and cooking in the well-stocked kitchen. The house was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. The dogs had a blast, too! Thanks very much! -- John R.

The house we stayed at was very well stocked in the kitchen and we liked the way things were labeled to know where to put the items back. The walk from the house to the beach was a lot shorter distance than we thought it would be. Loved the house, well taken care of and thank you for the great week!
