Outer Banks Rental Homes/Condos with a Heated Swimming Pool

There is not an additional fee for a heated pool.

The following homes offer access to a Heated Swimming Pool. The pool is either at the house or is located within the community (for example, Corolla Light) or at the YMCA in Nags Head. Please read the description for each property carefully for more information. If you are not sure if the house has access to an indoor, heated pool or not please call our reservations office at 1-800-548-9688.

Private pools are usually open from late April to mid October, please call our office for exact opening and closing dates for each property. Outdoor and indoor Pools advertised as Heated are set to a comfortable 78 degrees for optimum performance. This temperature may vary depending on the weather. Please note that pool heaters at private homes are ONLY turned on from early May through mid June and again from early September through mid October, unless otherwise noted in the property description. There is not an additional fee for the pool heat. Property KD09 'Glad Tidings' has a heated pool that is also open year round.

The YMCA in Nags Head has an indoor private pool, and an outdoor pool, and some rental properties do have YMCA privileges for their guests. Please look for the YMCA designation in the amenity list, or view our list of Homes with YMCA Access.

Guests with high sensitivities to chlorine may be interested in a rental home or condo offering a pool with a saltwater/saline purification system. This system converts salt to chlorine which makes the water feel softer and lessens eye and skin irritations sometimes caused by manually-chlorinated pool water.
