Originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia, Kristi and her family vacationed and have owned homes on the Outer Banks since the 1970s. She became a full-time resident of the Outer Banks in 2003 when she married Derek Stallings. Prior to moving to the Outer Banks she worked for the private and public sector in marketing and training positions. She and her husband have been investing in property in the area for 20 years.
