Bob graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in English in 1984, and quickly moved to Nags Head. Bob entered the real estate property management field in 1986, and received a broker's license in 1988. He has completed the 300, 400 and 500 courses at the Institute of Real Estate Management, and has earned Certified Property Manager designation. Married with two children, Oakes is an Eagle Scout and former Scoutmaster, and currently serves as vice-president of the Outer Banks Community Foundation. Bob also serves as the Mayor of Nags Head.
Bob is passionate about customer service and being a good steward to the Outer Banks and the environment. His leadership and high standards are evident throughout the company.
