After having earned a degree in Business Administration, Ashley moved to the Outers Banks in 1997. Her first job was as a Sales Assistant at the Sanderling Inn Resort in Duck. She obtained a North Carolina Real Estate license in 2000 and immediately began her career as a REALTOR® at Village Realty in Nags Head. Ashley has helped numerous buyers and sellers meet their real estate goals covering all areas of the Outer Banks. She has earned several year-end sales awards along with agent-of-the-month awards over the years with Village Realty.
For Sellers: Ashley strives to help her clients with her experience and knowledge of the market. She will competitively list your property providing potential buyers and their agents with the most thorough information available. She believes that everything counts from the pictures to the listing specs to the associated documents when listing a property. She will also guide her sellers through staging their home and suggest repairs or changes that will help her sellers get the highest possible price in the end. Even when it's a tough-love suggestion, she always reminds her seller clients of their mutual goal: getting your home sold seamlessly, in a timely manner, and for the highest amount possible.

As many of her clients are from other areas, she wants them to feel comfortable and confident in their real estate decisions on the Outer Banks. Selling in a primarily second home market, Ashley realizes that a second home at the beach is a luxury, not a necessity; therefore, a patient REALTOR is key. Ashley will gather all the information for her buyer clients to be able to make an informed decision. Outside of real estate, Ashley enjoys nothing more than painting with oils & acrylics with her "artists group" and in local art classes at the Dare Co. Arts Council and the Art Space Gallery in Southern Shores. She also enjoys painting furniture, creating pieces for the home that otherwise would've been discarded. She is grateful for her chosen career and has enjoyed helping families buy and sell real estate on the Outer Banks for over 11 years.
