Sarah Spencer hails originally from Richmond, Virginia. While attending college at James Madison University, she spent summers on the Outer Banks. We purchased these houses one on the sound side and one on the ocean side. The purchases occurred in 2009 and 2010. "When my husband and I decided this past January to sell our home on the Outer Banks and relocate out of state, we knew the chips were stacked against us so to speak. Having bought our fisrt home in the real estate boom a few years ago, we knew that selling our home and moving our three children would take a-lot of hard work and thinking outside the box and we wanted an sales agent that would see past the obstacles and get the job done.
In my first phone converstation with John I told him we were willing to be creative and do whatever it took to sell our house. Marcia Parrott, originally from Richmond, Virginia, has lived on the Outer Banks since graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1974. She spent several summers working backstage at the Lost Colony and then went on to become the advertising manager for a local newspaper. Marcia began her real estate career in 1985. She has worked for Village Realty since 1988 and was one of the first on-site agents for The Village at Nags Head. Mark Petty is originally from Red House, Virginia, and a graduate of James Madison University. He spent a number of years in the hospitality industry before relocating to the Outer Banks from Tampa, Florida in 1995. He worked as a site agent for a builder/developer in Nags Head before joining Marcia at Village Realty in 2001.
