FARMDOG is a newly opened shop on the Beach Road in Nags Head. They offer a variety of items and services. You can learn to surf, rent beach items, enjoy the coffee bar and local pastries, buy and trade books, shop the general store and also the Hippie food store. They are located at mile post 10.5. So it is time for some reminders for the locals. Yes, the locals. We live in a resort community and most of us depend on our visitors and the money they spend here to enable us to live on the Outer Banks. So, be polite, always. No matter where you work or what you do...be nice. Yes, I know it gets crowded and it takes you longer to get to the store or to work or to the beach but it is only for a few months and then we have the island pretty much to ourselves again. So, be nice. Be polite.

Movies on the Sound in Nags Head

Children at Play Museum started this event last summer and it is back again this year. FREE movies shown right on the soundfront in Nags Head, at the Outer Banks Event SIte. The movies are all G or PG rated and gates open at 7:00 pm each night. Movie starts at dusk. Parking is $10.00 per car. All proceeds benefit the Children at Play Museum

Flat Tops on the Outer Banks
